GCY offers a safe, supportive space for high school and university-aged youth to come together, connect with Sangat, dive deeper into Sikhi, and strengthen their Gurmat journey - all while having fun and forming lasting friendships.

GUEST SPEAKER

Born and raised in Matsqui, British Columbia, Brad Vis is the grandson of Dutch immigrants and was brought up on the values of hard work, sacrifice, integrity, and determination.

First elected in 2019, Brad now serves his third term as the Member of Parliament for Mission–Matsqui–Abbotsford and is the Conservative Shadow Minister for Small Business Recovery and Growth. He has been a strong voice on disaster recovery, housing affordability, and creating the conditions for Canadian small businesses to thrive.

Brad holds degrees in political science from the University of British Columbia and Carleton University. Active in his community, he has long been involved in local sports, especially rugby, and he and his wife Kathleen are raising their three children Declyn, Nicholas, and Launa in the Fraser Valley.
