Jatinder Singh, our respected Senior Administrator and founding Director, has had a profound connection to our organization since 1993. Better known as Veer Jee, they are a multifaceted individual who plays various pivotal roles at Gurmat Center, contributing significantly to its growth and success. In addition to his extensive contributions at Gurmat Center, Veer Jee has been a dedicated educator in the Abbotsford School District
since 2006, further showcasing his commitment to education and community development. Veer Jee’s long-standing commitment and diverse skill set make him an invaluable asset, ensuring the seamless operation and development of our initiatives. With decades of experience, Veer Jee continues to embody dedication and expertise in his role as a key member of our team.

Assistant Senior Administrator - Involved since 2003

Arshveer Kaur is a devoted member with a longstanding connection to Gurmat Center since her preschool years, having attended the inaugural Sikh preschool in Abbotsford. She has been instrumental as both a Sevadar and Administrator, actively contributing to diverse events and programs and amassing valuable experience. Currently serving as an educator in the Abbotsford School District, Arshveer Kaur leverages her academic credentials—a Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of the Fraser Valley. Her educational accomplishments underscore her dedication to service and professional development within the Gurmat Center community. Since 2011, Arshveer Kaur has been at the forefront, guiding the youth at Gurmat Center in Kirtan Seva.

Introducing Harveen Kaur, our accomplished Administrator at Gurmat Center, whose journey is a testament to her unwavering commitment and passion for our organization. Having completed all Gurmat Center levels, she embodies a deep understanding of our mission and values. As a devoted member of the Seva Club, Harveen consistently dedicated her time to various community initiatives, including volunteering for Sunday Darbar, Gurmat Camps, Simran Club, Gurmat Center Art classes, and Kirtan classes. Starting as an Assistant Administrator, she worked her way up to becoming a Junior Administrator and eventually assumed the role of Administrator. In the upcoming school year, Harveen will embark on a new chapter as she begins her academic journey at the University of the Fraser Valley, further enriching her contributions to Gurmat Center.

Jasreet Kaur, our proficient Junior Administrator at Gurmat Center, stands out not only for her skills but also for her remarkable journey within our organization. Jasreet Kaur’s educational background includes active participation in Punjabi and Nitnem Santhia classes at Gurmat Center. Currently heading our bookkeeping department, she excels in bringing precision and efficiency to her role. Before joining the Administration team, Jasreet Kaur made a notable impact as a dedicated volunteer in Punjabi classrooms and Gurmat Camps, underlining her passion for community engagement and fostering a supportive learning environment. Her outstanding dedication led to her achieving the title of Junior Administrator, marking the fastest promotion in the organization's history.
