We ended off the program with excitement and anticipation…prize draws! Students received wristbands upon arrival, giving them a chance to win various prizes. Like every year, we had 3 grand prizes: A basketball hoop, a bike, and a camera! Congratulations to all our winners and thank you to everyone to attending the annual Awards Ceremony!

After the Awards distribution, we were thrilled to see the Gatka performance by Gurmat Center’s very own students and other experienced sevadars. We value the dedication students have put towards learning Gatka!

During the Awards Ceremony, every student received a personal award, celebrating their hard work and achievements throughout the year. For the Alisha Harkirit Kaur Gill award, Punjabi level 1 student, Daataar Kaur Parhar was recognized for her high academics, positive attitude, and strong dedication to learning. Gurmat Center is proud of everyone’s efforts and excited for what’s next!

The Awards Ceremony featured delicious Langar including french fries and pakoray while Sangat arrived in the morning. For lunch, Sangat was served pizza, pop, ice cream and more! It was the perfect way to celebrate the ending of a great year!

The GC Sevadars are an integral part of the organization and help contribute to the successes of programs and events. For the 31st annual Awards Ceremony, sevadars came together the day before the event to set up tents, section off Darbar seating, and complete administrative tasks. During the event, sevadars played a key role by serving Langar, distributing wristbands for prize draws, and assisting students in finding their plaques in Darbar. Thank you to all of the amazing sevadars and we hope Maharaj Jee blesses all of us to continue doing Seva!
