Last week, Nitnem Santhia and Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee Santhia students completed their final exams. Students have worked hard throughout the school year and are looking forward to the Awards Ceremony week.

Gurmat Center Sevadars were invited to speak at a Global Development Studies class from the University of Fraser Valley. The presentation began by discussing Gurmat Center’s mission, followed by a presentation on India’s pandemic response. This presentation will help students design campaigns that aim to help the current situation in India. The Sevadars will come back near the end of the semester to review and help carry out campaigns.

This past week, Punjabi class students completed their final exams. Students were tested on their reading and writing skills throughout the week. Students have worked hard all throughout this unique year. They will all be recognized for their efforts during Awards ceremony!

Happy National Volunteer Week! We would like to take this opportunity to wholeheartedly thank each and every one of our amazing volunteers for their continued support and hard-work. Punjabi Class teachers have been working hard and creating pre-recorded lessons for all students this past month. All teachers are now preparing to transition back to in-person classes this week.
