Thank you to everyone that attended the Shaheedi Smagam! Although this event was unlike previous years, together we were able to commemorate the Shaheeds of 1984 & remember the atrocities of the Indian government. After the virtual event, it was very heartwarming to safely see and say hello to Sangat during the Candy Bag drive thru!

Sunday Youth & Family Darbar

Submitted by Gurmat on

Our Sunday Youth and Family Darbar is a weekly program that takes place every Sunday from 5:30 -7:00 pm. This month we have been learning about the events leading up to the 1984 Sikh genocide and the genocide itself. We have also incorporated “Current Events” into our Darbar where we share Sikhi related news in a way that youth can understand. As with our other programming, we are taking necessary safety precautions to ensure the safety of Sangat and Sevadars. Sevadars who are doing Kirtan or speaking in Darbar only remove their masks while doing Seva.
